My husband is getting ready to enter rehab for alcohol addiction. I work, but can’t pay my bills and rent without his income, which is going to be gone while he’s away. hi, we just had an outage which our motor has to b replaced as well as the circuit. we haven’t had cool air since a day before fourth of July…i have a six month old baby, and im on welfare and do not make enough to afford a temp. portable air conditioner. i could really use the help. thank you.

Good morning
I am a single mother of two, attending school and working a full time job and going through some financial difficulties. Is it possible that I obtain some type of rental assistance,as I owe two months due to financial hardship. I have join a debt management company to get out of debt and still finding is difficult to make ends meet. According to the government, I do not qualify for any food stamps or rental assistance programs. I applied for the PACO program and that is pending too.
Please if any assistance available, I’ll welcome it. I have instilled in my sons very strong work values and try not to use assistance for anything, however, since I’ve been employed I have never been or taken unemployment, food stamps, rental assistance or anything. I just need some immediate help to avoid my family from becoming homeless.

I had a payee on my social security check and he said that my check did not come this month, therefore, none of my bills got paid this month and my water bill is to be disconnected on Friday the 19th. I have tried ecery local agency and have called Churches just to be told ehat there is no funding. The amount that has to be paid is $76.00 and it may as well be a million. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I have two children in middle school who need clean clothes and showers.

I am a single mother to a beautiful 6 month old little girl. I am working full time and paying for our own place, formula, diapers and all the necessities. I am trying to make enough money to care for my daughter, pay off tickets and go to school and right now all I can barley do to home bills. If there is any way I can get any kind of help so I can better myself for my daughter so we can have a better future it would be great. I am a single mother of a child with Autism. I work and am having an extremely difficult time making ends meet. I dont qualify for any foodstamps or government assistance. I received a child support check for 24$ a yewar ago August and I have not received a dime since then. I am facing an eviction and I have no where to turn for help. Hi Marian. I am so sorry to hear about your current situation. I admire you deeply for working so hard to take care of your autistic child – you are truly a hero that deserves respect. I know things seem difficult right now, but suicide is not the answer. Things will get better, you just have to keep going strong and eventually you’ll pull out of it.

I have breast cancer. I can’t work because of chemo induced meuropathy. I have to have a double mastectomy next month. I haven’t been able to get Social Security. I need help paying the October rent so I don’t get evicted.

Hi Cheryl! I am in a similar situation. I have a 5 yr.old son with multiple disabilities. I am not able to work because I am the primary caretaker of my son and the only source of income is his SSI payments which have currently been cut down to $30 per month because of miscommunication with the worker at Social Security. I am now not able to pay my rent for October and I have no idea what to do. I can’t become homeless with my son. I am so very worried.

Hi, i am a 27 year old recently seperated mother of three. i have no Education past the 5th grade due to the may 3rd tornado’s. the last time i worked was in 2003, and it didnt last long as i found out i was pregnant with my first baby. i only worked 4 hours filing workman’s comp. i have since then enrolled in rose state college to get my high school diploma but was pregnant with my second child and had a pretty messy pregnancy. i then enrolled myself in GED classes but was kicked out on the count of my husband.

I really don’t know how to let you know would be the best way to help me and my family. I am no longer able to work, I wish I was. I have been a truck driver with specialty in heavy construction trucks for 27 yrs. My health has gotten progressively worse sence 2008 when I broke my back. Now I am broke in every way you can think of, mentally, physically & financially. I am currently in a rental and my landlord has been really good to me. We are now 2 and half months behind and he hasn’t kicked us out yet but I know it is coming. My medication runs between $350 and $500 per month, I applied for TNCare but was denied. I finally got approved for approximately $500 per month in food stamps. I have applied for disability have been denied for that also I have an attornourney now he says we will win my case but it could take up to 6 months before I begin to start recieving my SS check. I have been taking loans out against my checking account so like I told my children I will probably be in jail by June. As of the 26th of this month I will no longer have a drivers license. On top of everything else my husband and I are going to be getting a divorce as soon as I can possibly afford it. I break down in tears a multitude of times per day. I am responsible for my 72 yr old mom and 3 teenage boys sometimes I don’t think I can make threw another day. My prayer 2 months ago was to go to sleep and not wake up the next day. I am not suicidal but I am tired of it all. Not sure how much more I can take. The satelite dish is already shut off, the home phone and electricity will be here really shortly. My rent is $850. I now longer own any jewelry or a vehicle or anything else that may have been worth $2 because I have sold or pawned everything. I had a truck but took a title loan out to rent this place and could no longer make the payments so I sold it for amount owed. I used have a lot of jewelry that belonged to my dad, he passed in 2008 but I have sold all of that also. I don’t know where to turn or what to do. Even the computer I am on is not mine it belongs to my mom. I had a lap top but sold it a couple months ago. Please help us or point me in a direction to find some help. I hate this I can’t believe how my life has turned. I used to be the person people came to for help, not the person begging for help.
