To Whom It May Concern, Hello, I am originally from Washington State, moved to Lexington, Kentucky in 2003, for marriage, marriage is over now and I cannot get employed here for anything, the job market is extremely choosey right now as to whom they will hire. I stayed home for 11 years as a stay at home wife and mother, and like may women who stay at home and work extremely hard I have reaped hardly any benefit, and was left with very little to subsist off of. I very much want to transfer back out West, namely to California. I had to give up a night job after my divorce as my son was declining emotionally and academically due to the hardship of going back and forth between his father and me. I could not get employment after ending my 7 month stint with my night job and am back in my Ex-Husband’s house, with his new wife and baby, and sharing a small room with my son, I am living my worst nightmare, seeing my ex-husband everyday, having to deal with him. I am seeking a women’s organization in California that might be willing to help me transfer out to California, as my Ex is being a real A-hole, thus I cannot escape this nightmare of a situation. All my family are in Washington State, some in Oregon, and some in Cali, none of them will help me, as I married someone they disapproved of who’s from another nation, moved away from home and have been gone a long time. Do you know of any such organization that may be able to help? Kentucky has K-Tap, or formerly TANIF, but no help for single mothers, I was told by the State of Kentucky to back and sue my ex for more money for child support, hardly helpful or doable for me. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, will be more appreciated than you can imagine. I want my life back, remember who I am as a person and woman, and my son to have better educational opportunities that I know California can provide. Thank you again.
